eReports Expert and Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Alison Moffatt presents ‘Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: Issues Within a Medicolegal Context’ on Tuesday 19th July at the Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront in Darwin City, NT.
Most individuals exposed to serious and traumatic events do not develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). And yet, a significant proportion of personal injury claims centre around issues of ‘trauma’ and ‘stress’. This educational event considers PTSD within a medicolegal context, exploring issues associated with diagnosis, causation, treatment, and the overlap with other psychiatric conditions.
